About Manikaran

Manikaran is a temple town with natural soothing hotsprings in Parvati valley. Approximately 5 KM ahead of Kasol Manikaran is a spiritually important place for Hindus, Sikhs or individuals who hold nature’s miracle with great reverence. The emergence of hot water from the land is one of the top sights in kasol.

Gurudwara :

Manikaran Gurudwara is a revered Sikh shrine located. This place holds great spiritual significance for Sikhs, as it is believed to have been visited by Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism. Gurudwara is visited by hundreds of devotees every day and is famous for the loving food/langar provided to the visitors throughout the day. The beautiful gurudwara on the bank of Parvati river is a great sight.

Temples :
Manikaran is also a place of importance for Hindus, with ancient Shiva Temple, Ram temple and Naina Devi Temple. The old stone-carved temples are often flocked with local deities who visit Manikaran during festivities or come for a spiritual bath.

Hot Springs in Manikaran :
Manikaran has numerous natural hot springs. These springs are famous for their sulphur content and the healing ability of the same. There are communal hot springs in the Gurudwara and the Temple. There are also private hot springs which individuals can hire for a 30 minutes dip.
